We’re your partner to supercharge small business in your community.
What Briico Does
Briico is an innovative social enterprise driven by one bold vision: that every aspiring entrepreneur in the US — especially immigrants and refugees — have the tools and support they need to grow a small business.
We provide key services to people who want to start and grow microbusinesses in the US. Everything we do is available in 200 languages, accessible at all levels of literacy, and is proven to accelerate profits, local hiring, and business success rates.
How We Work With Partners
Briico partners with US Counties and local funders to do outreach, facilitate business training, and provide business services for people who want to start and grow microbusinesses.
We provide the following:
Microbusiness Pathways Workshops. This is our beloved and practical overview of the most proven, successful pathways for starting and growing small businesses with little to no capital.
Community Organizing & Outreach. We take pride in a door-to-door, multilingual, culture-informed approach to outreach. In this way, we get the highest-potential but most difficult-to-reach people engaging in programs.
“Seats” to key services, coaching, and education. Instead of focusing solely on education, Briico provides a unique mix of bite-sized education, personalized business game plans, one-on-one coaching, and delivery of key services. This mix has proven to be a powerful catalyst for helping people start and grow profitable and transformative microbusinesses.

Why Immigrants & Refugees
Our focus is on immigrants and refugees because for many newcomers to the US, building a small business is a powerful way to reach their goals.
But our support is by no means exclusive to immigrants. When we design to serve immigrants, we’ve found our programs become dynamic, accessible, relatable, and effective for the entire base of US small/micro-businesses.
Why Small Business
There are 30 million small businesses in the US, employing almost 50% of the country. The future is driven by their innovation, community vision, ethics, and renegade nature. That's why it’s so important to support these extraordinary business owners in becoming more successful and better employers.
Many counties’ business communities are highly diverse culturally and economically and composed primarily of very small businesses. These businesses face myriad challenges but have the potential to thrive with the right support.

How We’re Different
At Briico, we think differently when it comes to business. We have found:
Entrepreneurs need a concrete pathway to growth, not broad conceptual training.
A small business is not a "miniature big business." It has unique characteristics and needed strategies.
You need to learn how to think about your business, not what to think about your business.
Business growth shouldn't depend on literacy. We use hands-on methodologies to work around challenges with literacy or language.
Education shouldn’t be done to you, it should be done with you, personally and collaboratively.
Most small businesses don't need much capital to grow. So we focus on capital flexibility rather than debt dependence.
